We are the Jeffries Primary School Council. We normally have our meetings on a Friday afternoon. The children from Foundation and Key Stage 1 meet first and then the children from Key Stage 2.
There are two children from each class who are part of the council. They have to be elected by their class and do the job for the whole school year. Miss Brown is the grown-up that helps us in our meetings.
We help to make very important decisions about our school and have an important job to do. So far this year we have done a learning walk, helped to organise a charity coffee morning and changed our school rules and aims! We have been very busy!
You can find out more about what we do by looking at our big display board in the main entrance. It has all our photographs as well as information about projects we are working on. You can also find out more in our 'Information' area at the bottom of this page.
